Producers Cecil Otter and Swiss Andy have harnessed the powers of two juggernauts of sound, Fugazi and The Wu Tang Clan. They bring you Wugazi, a free full length album containing the restless energy of punk and the raw power of rap.
Cecil Otter is a founding member of Doomtree, a hip-hop collective from the mid-west (no westside, eastside vibes). Describing his sound as nostalgia, it’s no wonder he decided to take a swing at bringing back Fugazi from obscurity one more time. Swiss Andy brings the traditional production values of his work with rock and punk bands, The Millionth Word among them.
Rolling Stone describes the following track ‘Sweet Release’ as “chaotic howls recalling the furious joy of party people beside themselves.” With Method Man telling us how it is over Fugazi’s ‘Sweet and Low,’ don’t take our word for it, check it out.

Fugazi have been on ‘indefinite hiatus’ since 2002, so getting some more leg out of their classic tracks is refreshing and a welcome. Perhaps the reception of this mash-up with bring them out of the batcave for tours and God-willing a new studio album. Wu Tang Clan need no introduction. These legends of rap have been at it since 1992 and continue to steamroll their way over any obstacle set before them. Their infectious sound and powerful lyrics have influenced generations and are no doubt responsible for more than a few platinum albums.
Together, after a year of painstakingly slicing and dicing some of the greatest tracks of the 90s, they completed Wugazi: 13 Chambers, a labor of love available for free download.
