A$AP Rocky’s new tune could provide the score for a drug fiendish night on the town or an action-packed cinematic explosion. The music video was shot in the Dominican Republic and although A$AP and his buddies Skrillex and Birdy Nam Nam are having some crazy, dirty fun, the clip exposes the dark adventures of child drug runners. ‘Wild for the Night’ captures the souk-like ambience of the Dominican streets – except these paths aren’t lined with goods to sell; they’re framed by corrugated iron shacks and barefoot children. The video does a great job of showcasing the colour, vibrancy and poverty of the Dominican Republic, while simultaneously making the music jam. Length 05:52
