Since we’re halfway through the year, now seems as good a time as any to give a mention to some of the albums that have passed without mention yet deserve a listen.
Errors – Have Some Faith In Magic: Brilliant electronic post-rock from Glasgow four-piece.
The Wave Pictures – Long Black Cars: More catchy tunes from prolific English guitar band.
The Men – Open Your Heart: Lively retro rock music.
Blondes – Blondes: Slowly breaking waves of synths.
Rangers – Pan Am Stories: Far too unassuming to turn many heads but full of its own little charms.
Allo Darlin’ – Europe: Some of the best indie pop in recent memory from the London group’s second album.
Field Music – Plumb: The indie rockers from Sunderland have still got it.
The Walkmen – Heaven: Seventh album from the American rockers who continue to mature without ever changing too much.
