Happy Birthday David Byrne

He is the man who made being dorky cool and today – May 14 – David Byrne turns 61 years old. From his days of wearing suits with shoulder pads that made linebackers look miniature to his bike racks project to his most recent studio album with St. Vincent, Byrne is a man who never stops reimagining the world we live in and offering inspiration for the dreamer within each of us. His approach may seem to be a quiet one but since the first time he stepped up to the mic he has been making the world a more beautiful and interesting place.
