Christopher Walken is a cameo legend. He’s popped up in countless films over his career, but without question, our favourite cameo is his stint in Fatboy Slim‘s ‘Weapon of Choice’ music video. This six-time 2001 MTV Video Music Awards-winning video features Walken dancing and flying around a deserted Los Angeles Marriott hotel lobby. Directed by Spike Jonze, we see Walken, who was trained as a dancer in musical theatre before his acting career, doing his thing and being the sole reason the video was critically acclaimed for its choreography. For more of Walken’s quirkiness and trademark cameos, check out the videos below to see a few of his performances such as Caesar the Exterminator from Mouse Hunt, Frank Abagnale Sr. in Catch Me If You Can, and Captain Koons in Pulp Fiction.

Of course, we couldn’t pass by the opportunity to share one of our other favourite Fatboy Slim videos, ‘Praise You’. The guerrilla-style video for ‘Praise You’ has become a much-loved cult classic. It was filmed by Spike Jonze, a close friend of Fatboy Slim, and the director behind films such as 2014 Academy Award winning Her, Adaptation and Being John Malkovich. Jonze starred in the ‘Praise You’ music video under the pseudonym Richard Koufey, along with fictional dance group The Torrance Community Dance Group Enjoy. It’s definitely got our praise.
